Job Description

Our client, a custom Door Manufacturing company, is seeking a Door Assembler to join their team. As a Door Assembler, you will be part of the Assembly Department supporting Production and Quality Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to craftsmanship, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembler

Location: North Java, NY

Pay Range: $18-24

What’s the Job?

• Convert door components into completed, square, and properly sized doors
• Inspect incoming and outgoing parts for size, fit, and accuracy
• Assemble various door styles (flush, panel, louvered, fire-rated, etc.)
• Operate woodworking tools like glue welders, staple guns, and saws
• Maintain work area cleanliness and complete assigned preventative maintenance

What’s Needed?

• Basic knowledge of woodworking or carpentry
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and use measuring tools
• Understanding of door types: paint/stain grade, fire-rated, French, arch, etc.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant experience also considered
• Strong math skills and safe work habits
