Position Overview As a Family Dollar Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations, maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork. Responsibilities include: Greeting and assisting customers positively and approachable manner. Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, well-stocked store. Supervising, training, and developing Store Associates. Unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store. Assisting in ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling. Supporting loss prevention efforts. Assuming management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager. Following all company policies and procedures. Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Retail management experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and meet physical demands of the role. Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Skills: Customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem solving, and relationship management.
