Job Title: Auto Dealership Service Advisor
Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Auto Dealership Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional service and automotive expertise to our valued clients. This role requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of automotive maintenance and repair, and the ability to work collaboratively with service technicians and other dealership staff to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers at the service desk, providing a friendly and professional service experience.
  • Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and discuss vehicle issues and services needed in a clear and concise manner.
  • Accurately document customer information and vehicle details, including service history and current issues.
  • Collaborate with service technicians to determine vehicle service needs and communicate findings to the customer.
  • Provide detailed cost estimates and explain pricing, service options, and timing to customers.
  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate with the service department to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure the delivery of consistent, high-quality customer service by proactively addressing questions and concerns.
  • Monitor service progress and keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle repairs.
  • Maintain professional knowledge of automotive technologies and services offered by the dealership.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with a positive attitude and resolve issues promptly.
  • Follow up with customers after service is completed to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in automotive technology or customer service are a plus.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, drivetrains, and electronics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and automotive service management software.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
