Burlington City Arts Life Drawing Models
City of Burlington, Vermont is seeking a professional and preferably experienced Life Drawing Model to model clothed or nude for a fall adult figure painting class at our studios. Must be available Wednesday mornings, from 9:30am to 12:30pm on October 8 and October 15, 2025. Pay grade: $25 hourly. Remote Tier 1: Zero (0) days remote/week.
Essential Job Functions:
- Life Drawing Models will work in cooperation with BCA administrative staff and instructors to model for figure drawing classes for our adult and youth drawing classes.
- Must be available Wednesday mornings, 9:30am to 12:30pm on October 8 and October 15, 2025.
- Additional opportunities to model for classes throughout the year as needed and available.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
- Ability to actively support City diversity, equity, and cultural competency efforts within stated job responsibilities and work effectively across diverse cultures and constituencies.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion as evidenced by ongoing trainings and professional development.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Previous experience in modeling preferred.
- Able to sit or stand while holding a pose for long periods.
- Interact with BCA staff and members of the public in a professional manner.
- Demonstrate a high level of punctuality and dependability.
- Ability to work onsite, Wednesdays 9:30am-12:30pm.
- Cooperative attitude and team-player attitude.
- Ability to understand and comply with City standards, safety rules, and personnel policies.
- Ability to professionally represent the City of Burlington and the City Arts Department in all dealings with community members.
This is a Temporary or Seasonal Position that is Not Eligible for City of Burlington Benefits.
