Caregiver Health RN Full-time Day at Providence Health and Services summary:

The Caregiver Health RN provides employee health services including pre-employment and annual physicals, injury claim processing, and coordination of treatment within a hospital setting. This role leads health programs such as flu vaccinations and fit testing, working under the supervision of the Employee Health Office Manager. The position requires a valid California RN license, relevant certifications, and experience in employee health or nursing.

Caregiver Health RN at Providence Saint Johns Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts

Under the general supervision of Manager of Employee Health Office, the Employee Health Nurse conducts pre-employment and annual employee physicals, assists in the processing of claims for work-related injuries and coordinates any necessary treatment, interacts with third-party administrator (TPA) and provides required assistance with investigation and documentation. The Employee Health Nurse also assists with the coordination of the Transitional Work Program, interfaces with the Employee Assistance Program to ensure maximum utilization by employees. The Employee Health Nurse is the lead coordinator of the flu vaccination and fit test programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 6 months as Staff RN, RNP, or PA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or
  • Associate's Degree
  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse upon hire.
  • 6 months Employee Health.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
