One of our companies is currently looking for a Data Engineer II in United States .

As a Data Engineer II, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the data platform that drives business insights and operations. This role requires collaboration across teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable data pipelines. You will work closely with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to build out systems that support data-driven decision-making and optimize data flows across the organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of an enterprise-grade data platform from the ground up, in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design and support data pipelines and platforms that power the business
  • Build high-quality, reliable datasets and reports in partnership with various teams
  • Implement and uphold coding standards, shared libraries, and best practices for data infrastructure
  • Work with Data Science, Research, and Product teams to transform ideas into performant, production-level systems
  • Ensure security and privacy through best practices, keeping user data safe
  • Monitor and maintain data pipeline health, ensuring the reliability and performance of all systems

  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably with Python
  • 2+ years of experience building data platforms and pipelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong proficiency in SQL
  • 1+ years of experience with observability tools (e.g., Cloudwatch, Datadog, Prometheus)
  • 1+ years of experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with data warehouse technologies like Snowflake, RedShift, or DataBricks
  • Familiarity with orchestration technologies like Argo or Airflow
  • Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to break down abstract problems into actionable tasks
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
  • Authorized to work in the United States (no immigration sponsorship available)
  • Competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000
