Position Details KPMG is seeking a Director, Tech Engineering to join our Tax Ignition Group. Responsibilities Lead the response to clients' security inquiries. Meet with clients to address their security questions and negotiate controls when gaps exist between client requirements and our offerings. Drive innovation in the inquiry process, including integrating AI, creating collateral like whitepapers, managing metrics, and enhancing tooling and interactions. Partner with internal teams to incorporate trends into product roadmaps, collaborate on compliance, and raise awareness of security requirements. Review and respond to security questionnaires and assessments. Build and maintain a knowledge base of common client questions. Qualifications Minimum ten years of recent experience in IT security compliance, risk management, or related fields within a large organization, preferably in professional services or regulated environments. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred. Deep understanding of cloud architecture, modern software development, and security controls; Azure experience preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively globally. Proven client-facing experience handling security inquiries and driving process improvements. Knowledge of industry standards such as COBIT, NIST, ISO; certifications like CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Auditor, etc., preferred. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
