Director, Client Security Inquiry & Assurance Join to apply for the Director, Client Security Inquiry & Assurance role at KPMG US Role Overview KPMG is seeking a Director, Client Security Inquiry & Assurance to lead responses to client security inquiries, drive innovation in security processes, and collaborate across teams to enhance client security measures. This role requires extensive experience in IT security compliance, risk management, and client-facing security roles. Responsibilities: Lead the response process to client security inquiries. Engage with clients to address security questions and negotiate controls. Innovate and improve the inquiry process, incorporating AI and creating collateral like whitepapers. Partner with internal teams to incorporate security trends into product roadmaps. Review and respond to security questionnaires and assessments. Maintain a knowledge base of common client questions. Qualifications: At least 10 years of experience in IT security compliance, risk management, or related fields within a large organization. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Deep understanding of cloud architecture, software development, and security controls; Azure experience preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to work globally. Experience in client-facing security roles and driving process improvements. Knowledge of industry standards such as COBIT, NIST, ISO; certifications like CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Auditor preferred. Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
