Job Description

The Judge Group has partnered with a manufacturer with locations in New York and New Jersey looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Manager for their team. This role oversees four facilities in the heart of NY City through Long Island area and will oversee the entire quality platform within the company.

This role does not offer relocation assistance and candidates must be local to New York City, Long Island Area, or within local driving distance of either. This role is onsite 5-days a week and includes travel up to 50 miles to/from NY and NJ.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Manage the entire Quality Assurance division within the company including management, supervisors, and hourly personnel
• Manage the QA systems across 4 facilities in New York and New Jersey
• Develop, Improve, Implement, and/or Maintain QA systems including policies, standards, SOPs, and more!
• Manage all internal and external audits at all plant locations, must be onsite at the facilities when audits are occurring
• Manage external partnerships at the local, state, and federal government levels
• Assures all products are made safely and adhere to all food safety and quality guidelines at the company and government levels
• Handle all consumer complaints and institute root cause analysis gatherings for plant findings
• Oversee and manage the training program for all quality associates
• Be a cross collaboration partner and senior leadership partner to all executive team members: handling issues, communicating effectively, and supporting other departments goals and KPIs

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of Quality Management experience, overseeing Quality platform
• Food manufacturing experience required
• Ability to travel, commute up to 50 miles as necessary
