Document Control Specialist Position Summary: Provide excellent customer service; keep clients updated on work in progress and complete incoming projects by requested deadlines. Create, revise and convert various types of documents such as court filings, agreements, contracts, leases, letters, memorandum, pleadings, etc. using Microsoft Office and other tools. Conduct document quality review procedures. Maintain document tracking and completion estimates on all documents which have been submitted as they are received and perform status updates. Scan materials and perform document clean-up and formatting. Ensure documents are accurate, and are consistently formatted and professional in appearance. Perform data entry into various applications and perform mail merges. Work with lawyers, paralegals, secretaries, and other departments to complete projects. Provide technical support to Firm regarding document formatting inquiries. Document Control Specialist Qualifications Summary: Minimum three years word processing and/or document processing experience, preferably in a law firm. College degree strongly preferred. Experience providing advanced document support. Strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel; familiarity with DocXTools desired. Quick and accurate typing skills. Exceptional proofreading abilities.
