Job Description

Join our dynamic events team where no two days are the same! In this hands-on role, you'll help bring events to life by setting up and tearing down meeting spaces, arranging equipment, and ensuring everything runs smoothly under the guidance of an Event Manager. From staging venues and handling sound equipment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, your attention to detail and customer service will shine. The Day To Day...

1. Set-up and teardown of the meeting and event rooms as outlined by the Banquet Event Order
2. Unloading equipment (potentially out of trailers) and setting up venues for events, including chairs and tables
3. Working under the instructions of an Event Manager
4. Ensuring the event space is clean and organized
5. Maintain venue including cleaning floors, windows, etc.
6. Adhering to event safety standards
7. Ensuring excellent levels of customer service
8. Setting up sound equipment and other rental items
9. Inspecting equipment for damage after use and checking it against an inventory list
10. Proper care, movement, storage of all equipment such as tables, chairs, etc.

The Qualifications...

• Outstanding organizational skills
• Diligence and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Frequently lifts/carries up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8-hours in length
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform under stress
• Flexible work schedule to include nights and weekends
