You can accurately translate Figma designs into functional websites using Dev Mode, maintaining design system consistency and implementing pixel-perfect responsive layouts. Performance Focus. You understand Core Web Vitals, can optimize sites for 90+ Lighthouse scores, and know how to implement effective caching and optimization strategies. Primary Responsibilities Accurately translate Figma designs into functional websites, maintaining design fidelity and implementing responsive behavior across all devices. Create client training materials and conduct training sessions on content management, media uploads, and basic site administration. Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and project managers to deliver projects on time and within scope. Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following WordPress coding standards and best practices. Stay current with web development trends, accessibility requirements, and performance optimization techniques. Required Experience 2-5 years of professional front-end web development experience, with strong WordPress and Divi theme expertise. Experience with WordPress custom theme/plugin modifications, child theme development, and page builders (like Divi and Elementor). Hands-on experience with design tools like Figma and translating designs into functional websites. Knowledge of performance optimization tools (Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, etc.) and optimization plugins. Experience with managed WordPress hosting environments and DNS management. LOCATION REQUIREMENT: This is a hybrid role based in Akron, Ohio . The ideal candidate must be located within commuting distance of Akron and available to work on-site several days per week.
