Description

Facilitating the on-boarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and introducing new employees to company culture and policies

• Managing I-9 documentation and other on-boarding forms
• Providing clerical/administrative support to one or more functional areas of human resources, such as personnel records, benefits and other HR areas as needed
• Maintaining and updating employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Assisting in the administration of employee benefits and other HR programs as needed
• Responding to employment verification requests
• Checking the accuracy and completion of group insurance enrollment forms and processing them under the organization's various benefit plans

Requirements

• Minimum of a two years work related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Application of vocational or administrative skills and methods taught in specialized training and/or learned through formal apprenticeships
• Ability to work on-site 5 days per week

Desired Skills

• Must be accurate and detail-oriented
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, work independently, prioritize duties, and follow through tasks to completion
• Must be able to handle confidential matters
• Understanding of various employment laws and regulations
• Familiarity with employee benefits administration
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
