Job Summary:

The HR Assistant is responsible supports the HR Department by completing administrative duties and special projects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process new hire paperwork – data entry.
  • Complete I-9/E-verify maintenance and re-verifications
  • File, organize, and track paperwork.
  • Complete UPS labels.
  • Performance reviews – administration, start review process, tracking through the process.
  • Reports: weekly audits and manager and department changes.
  • Mileage approvals.

Qualifications

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and help create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).
  • Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.
  • Must have proven problem solving and critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).
  • Must be able to act as the Company liaison with customer representatives.
  • Must be able to learn company computer systems and software.
  • Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must have extremely strong attention to detail.

Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Must have 2 years’ administrative experience.
  • Experience with customer facing roles.
  • Ability to meet Company minimum driving standards preferred.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite.
