Job Description

Arcosa Marine is searching for a Mobile Crane Operator in our Ashland City, TN barge manufacturing plant.


Arcosa Marine Products, Inc., is part of Arcosa's Inland Barge Group, and is a leading manufacturer of barges used to transport cargo on U.S. inland waterways. Arcosa Marine Products manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. Arcosa Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, Arcosa Marine Products provides a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.

What You'll Do:
  • Safely operate mobile crane to lift and move heavy materials.
  • Perform pre-operation safety checks.
  • Drive crane to and from different work areas and position it appropriately for assigned tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned
What You'll Need:
  • Minimum of 1-year of experience operating a mobile crane or equipment
  • Ability to move and lift more than 25 tons
  • Work requires the ability to read and write in order to complete standard records
  • Knowledge and experience in operating controls, rigging principles, hand signals, and safe lifting procedures
  • Must have completed crane operator training and certification course provided by the Safety Department
  • Must have the ability to operate crane and lift loads in a safe and non-hazardous manner to ensure the safety of operator and all other employees in the area
