Job Description Job Description Are we the road to your future? We are currently searching for an experienced Natural Gas Project Manager to support our Natural Gas Team. This position may be located in any of our Volkert offices. To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Mechanical, Structural, or Industrial Engineering). The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $130,000, depending upon experience. What you’ll be doing: Lead multidisciplinary teams in the design and implementation of natural gas infrastructure projects Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans Manage permitting processes with local, state, and federal agencies Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and construction procedures Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies Interface with stakeholders including municipalities, landowners, and regulatory bodies Support emergency response and on-call supervision as needed Assist in capital and operational budget planning Manage vendor relationships Mentor junior staff and contribute to training programs What you need to have: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Mechanical, Structural, or Industrial Engineering) 10 years of experience in natural gas infrastructure or civil project management Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required based on degree of relevant experience Strong knowledge of permitting, pipeline design, and construction techniques Proficiency in project management software and CAD tools Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to travel to project sites and work flexible hours as needed Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
