Position Summary / Department Summary:
The Clinical Nutrition team at Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking passionate Registered Dietitians to join our inpatient and outpatient teams. Current opportunities are available in per-diem, part-time, and full-time schedules.40-hour positions are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus
Position schedules range from 20–40 hours per week
Current openings include:
Inpatient: General Inpatient (Boston)
Outpatient: Open Clinic (Boston), Adolescent/ARFID (Boston & Waltham) and Open Clinic (Needham)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nutritional care to patients in assigned inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
Evaluate medical, biochemical, and nutritional information to assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
Implement and monitor nutrition care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
Assist in supervising the daily work of dietetic technicians.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition required.
Experience:
At least 3 years of progressive experience in Dietetics, with 2+ years in pediatric nutrition preferred.
Strong analytical skills to resolve complex problems using scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in-depth, experience-based knowledge.
Effective communication and writing skills to manage complex discussions, conflicting views, and provide clear documentation.
Spanish language skills a plus.
Licensure / Certifications:
Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Registered Dietitian.
Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Licensed Dietitian.
The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
