Responsibilities:

  • Client Assessment: Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments to understand clients' goals, physical condition, and preferences.
  • Program Design: Develop customized workout plans that are safe, effective, and tailored to each client’s specific needs.
  • Motivation and Support: Provide ongoing motivation, guidance, and feedback to help clients stay on track and achieve their fitness goals.
  • Demonstration and Supervision: Demonstrate exercises and routines, ensuring clients perform them correctly to avoid injury.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor and record clients’ progress, making necessary adjustments to training programs to ensure continued progress.
  • Education and Expertise: Stay updated on the latest health and fitness trends, techniques, and best practices to offer the best possible service.
  • Community Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging a sense of community among members.
  • Sales and Retention: Promote personal training packages, group fitness classes, and other services to members, assisting with client retention and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, or equivalent) and/or a Bachelor’s degree or higher in an exercise science-related field
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Proven experience in personal training or fitness coaching is preferred
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, exercise physiology, and nutrition
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated, energetic, and proactive approach to helping others
  • Ability to inspire and lead by example
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
