Pharmacy Technician I - Full Time (Hospital Setting) Cincinnati, OH Competitive Pay | Full Benefits | Multiple Shifts Available Position Overview: Join a respected healthcare team as a Pharmacy Technician I. Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, Assistant Directors, Technician Supervisor, and Pharmacists, the Pharmacy Technician supports medication preparation and distribution while promoting a positive image of the department. Responsibilities Include: Prepare medications per physician orders, including packaging, labeling, and scanning Measure and mix medications using appropriate tools and aseptic techniques Refill and maintain automated dispensing machines Prepare IV admixtures and sterile products in accordance with safety protocols Utilize EPIC system for patient records, medication orders, and label printing Deliver medications to the appropriate departments and storage areas Maintain stock by rotating inventory, checking expiration dates, and reordering supplies Provide frontline customer service at the pharmacy window and via telephone Uphold departmental and hospital safety and cleanliness standards Perform other duties as assigned by pharmacy leadership Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Current PTCB certification (CPhT) and registration with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy At least 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting Schedule Options: Evening Shift: Start between 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM; End by 11:00 PM - 11:30 PM Rotating Shift: Primarily day shifts between 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM, occasional evening coverage Other Details: Start Date: ASAP Full-Time: 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts Must be comfortable handling cash transactions for prescriptions To Apply: For more information please send your resume directly to elizabeth@ka-recruiting.com or call/text me at 617-746-2747.
