This role oversees security systems, vendor relationships, and investigative processes, applying a layered security approach to reduce risk, prevent loss, and ensure operational resilience. Travel expected 40% of the time.**Key Responsibilities*** Design, implement, and maintain ATD’s physical security and crisis management programs across all facilities.* Lead the development of a written physical security program, including policies, procedures, and standards.* Stay current on emerging technologies and industry best practices to ensure best-in-class security performance.* Develop and manage the annual physical security budget, including forecasting, capital planning, and expense tracking.* Conduct physical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.* Facilitate tabletop exercises and emergency response drills to strengthen crisis preparedness.* Lead and support complex theft investigations, collaborating with law enforcement and external agencies as needed.* Develop and ensure delivery of site-level security awareness training, covering topics such as crisis response, evacuation, workplace violence, and disaster recovery.* Oversee the implementation and maintenance of physical security systems, including alarms, CCTV, AI analytics, and other advanced technologies by IT.* Manage national security guard service providers (armed and unarmed), ensuring compliance with service level agreements and operational standards.* Recommend and implement countermeasures to reduce exposure to theft, loss, and other security risks.**Competencies*** Action oriented - Takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.* Balances stakeholders - Anticipates and balances the needs of multiple stakeholders.* Business insight - Applies knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals.* Communicates effectively - Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.* Courage - Steps up to address difficult issues, saying what needs to be said.* Decision quality - Makes good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.* Drives results - Consistently achieves results, even under tough circumstances.* Instills trust - Gains the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.* Manages ambiguity - Operates effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear.* Nimble learning - Learns through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning fodder.* Plans and aligns - Plans and prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree* 8 years of related experience preferred**Skills*** Action Planning* Authentication Server Management* Data Collection and Analysis* Data Control* Database Administration* Network/IT security* Policy and procedures* Policy and Regulation* Policy Development and Implementation* Transaction Security and Virus Protection**Physical Demands/Working Conditions** Physical Demands Category: Office Physical Demands/Work Environment/Travel Requirements: • Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste and/or smell; the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
