Physical Security Specialist/Program Manager - San Jose, CA Optomi, in partnership with a company that specializes on AV, security and fire alarm solutions is looking to add a Physical Security Specialist! The Physical Security Specialist will join as the first member of this team to build out this area after a recent merger. The day to day first starting out will vary but some responsibilities include: responding to service tickets, remote and on-site support for technicians and customers, mix of internal (techs) and external (customers) interactions, support field technicians and directly handle technical issues, manage key customer relationships. Primary Responsibilities: Initial programming, hardening, and configuring Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Systems Verifying devices at customer sites Troubleshooting network issues and resolving them with customers Configuring servers on different operating systems Installing and maintaining software on both internal and customer-supplied servers Software support for Field Technicians Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years experience in Application Engineering or IT Experienced in Lenel Valid drivers license and clean driving record Preferred Qualifications: Experience in and knowledge of the following systems: Milestone, Bosch, AMAG, Software House, Kantech and/or Exacq CCDA, CCNA & MSCE are preferred.
