Well-regarded Orthopedic Surgeon with a Sports Fellowship is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant.
- The position is sports focused but also includes general cases.
- There is a strong volume of knee and shoulder cases.
- This doctor?s patient base includes all levels of athletes (professionals to weekend warriors) as well as general population.
- The position is two days in the OR and the balance is in the clinic.
- The new Physician Assistant will provide a mix of surgical first assist, consultation and patient follow-up and education, sin-visc and cortisone injections, pre and post H&P?s, write scripts, and review and order lab tests.
- The Physician Assistant will run a parallel clinic to the doctor.
- The position does not have any weekends and minimal evenings.
- This doctor requires orthopedic experience.
- The candidate must be NCCPA-Certified. Sorry, the Doctor will not train a new graduate.
- The location is within the Arlington, Virginia area.
- Base salary: Excellent compensation and a full benefits package provided.
