The Opportunity:

Lafayette Physical Therapy, Inc. is currently seeking a dynamic, patient-focused Pilates Instructor with excellent communication skills and a strong background in physical health and fitness. We offer individual and pairs Pialtes sessions and like to incorporate our philosophy of whole-body health into their sessions to help our clients achieve their wellness goals.

We are really looking for practitioners that will work well within our amazing team. The right candidate is friendly, professional, organized, reliable, accountable and ethical. Candidate must display the ability of time management within a schedule with minimal supervision. Must be able to work independently and progress fitness programs appropriately. We have a strong team atmosphere that requires an energetic and positive person with a good work ethic, accountability, and reliability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver varied Pilates exercise routines catering to a diverse set of client needs, levels, and goals.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust exercise programs as necessary.
  • Educate clients on the philosophy and benefits of Pilates, including proper technique, safety, and alignment principles.
  • Develop relationships with clients to create a supportive, motivating environment and encourages long term relationships.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Pilates space and equipment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certified in Pilates Instruction from a reputable program with Mat and Apparatus training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, energetic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to build and manage a schedule of clients.
  • Experience in working with diverse client profiles, ranging from recovery to athletic performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and adapt programs to individual needs and goals.
  • Ability to be self-directed when necessary while strictly adhering to task priority and relevance.
  • Ability to work successfully within the guidelines of the clinic as well as the rules and regulations applying to the profession and working under a Physical Therapy office.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Additional fitness or wellness certifications (Yoga, Personal Training, etc.).
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary physical therapy setting.

Employment Type: W-2 Employee

Wage Information: Starting hourly wage is $30/hour + Service Bonus for services performed. Once established with regular clientele the average total compensation is typically between $40 and $50/hour.

Schedule: Part time with ability to increase to full time based on client demand. Let us know what you are interested in working, and the minimum and maximum hours you would prefer to work. Possible shifts Monday through Friday.
