This position involves assisting with or performing activities related to the operation and maintenance of oil and gas liquid processing facilities under supervision. Essential functions and responsibilities include operating processing plant equipment, monitoring and controlling equipment operating conditions, starting and stopping equipment, and assisting with equipment preparation for maintenance activities. The role also requires driving and ensuring maintenance is complete on company vehicles./ppEducation: None required. Work experience: None required. Knowledge, skills, and abilities include knowledge of compressor station, storage field, gathering field, and processing plant operations, computers, gas and liquid processing fundamentals, applicable company and governmental operating practices and procedures, and safe handling of flammable gases, liquids, and high-pressure systems. The ability to analyze, adjust, and perform minor repairs on equipment, read/understand drawings, diagrams, work logs, dials, gauges, charts, procedures, and operational and repair manuals, and maintain and prepare information such as safety/environmental reports, work logs, maintenance/repair logs, and time sheets is also required. Effective communication skills are necessary./ppLicenses and certifications: None required. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, and vision requirements./ppWorking conditions involve exposure to inside and outside environmental conditions, well-lighted and climate-controlled areas, outdoor weather conditions, wet or humid conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, dust, fumes, gases, moving mechanical parts, potential electric shock, prolonged exposure to vibration, high-pitched noises, loud noises, unprotected heights, and frequent repetitive motion./ppTravel to company locations and/or for training is required.
