Mason City Police Department is hiring Entry Level & Certified Officers

Minimum Qualifications:

• 20 years of age or older at the time of hire


• High school diploma or GED


• No felony convictions


• Live within 30 miles of Mason City within six months of hire.


• Participate in required written & physical testing conducted by the agency.

Entry Level & Certified Officers

Salary: Entry level starting at $69,000/YR & up to $91,800/YR for Certified Officers.

Benefits:

• $5,000 hiring bonus for Certified Officers


• Relocation package available


• $2,000 annual stipend for officers living inside Mason City


• Pay-off employment agreement from current employer for Certified Officers


• Competitive Vacation and up to 6 months sick leave.


• Additional vacation time for Certified Officers


• Excellent retirement pension & savings plan with ability to retire by age 55
