Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and observant Seasonal Pool Monitor to help ensure the safety, cleanliness, and enjoyment of our community pool facilities. This role is vital in maintaining a positive experience for all residents and guests by enforcing pool rules, keeping the area clean, and responding to concerns in a courteous and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily pool logs.
Monitor the pool area to ensure all individuals have a valid community pass and are adhering to posted safety rules and regulations.
Open and close pool umbrellas as needed and ensure the pool area remains safe, clean, and presentable throughout the day.
Maintain cleanliness of the pool, pool deck/splash zone, and restrooms using appropriate equipment (e.g., nets). Straighten pool furniture regularly.
Identify and report unusual or extraordinary circumstances involving the pool or its users.
Provide friendly, professional, and timely responses to resident and guest inquiries or concerns.
Qualifications:
Must be over the age of 16.
Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce rules calmly and respectfully.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Reliable and punctual with good communication skills.
Previous customer service or facilities experience is a plus.
