Process Engineer – Greater Waverly, Iowa Area

Direct Hire | On-Site | $65,000 – $85,000/year

We’re partnering with a growing manufacturing company in the greater Waverly, Iowa area to find a Process Engineer who will support production operations, troubleshoot issues, and lead process improvement initiatives in a chemical or food manufacturing setting.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support process and capital engineering projects at the facility
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and vendor coordination
• Oversee ongoing production operations and direct plant personnel on assigned jobs
• Collaborate on SOP development and equipment/process training for operators
• Identify and implement process improvement strategies and resolve bottlenecks
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, maintenance, and customer project teams
• Act as a technical lead for select customer accounts
• Ensure safety and compliance across all projects and tasks

✅ Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field – OR – 10+ years of comparable experience in engineering roles
• 1–5+ years of experience in a food or chemical manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with ISO, QSR/GMP standards and quality practices preferred
• Hands-on experience with process scale-up, equipment installation, and technical support

• Location : On-site role in the Waverly, IA area (no remote work)

• Compensation : $65,000 – $85,000 per year (based on experience)
