Production Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Production team. The production worker will perform a wide range of tasks to build a variety of electromechanical devices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of production operations
• Operates machinery and equipment
• Maintains quality control
• Sets up and organizes work area and obtains material, supplies and equipment
• Maintains premises in a clean and orderly fashion and makes minor repairs
• Completes required paperwork

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis
• Surface Mount Soldering skills, preferred
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• Minimum 2 years of previous work experience in a warehouse, Electronic/Manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to lift, bend, twist, walk, and reach frequently
• Ability to perform repetitious duties while standing or sitting for long periods of time.
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. regularly

Additional Information :

• This is an on-site opportunity that must be done from our location in Hayward, CA
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position is part of the Teamsters Local 853 union and requires membership.
• Starting pay is $22.73 (After 90-day probation, pay increases to $23.48)
• Shift: 4 10-hour days (Mon-Thursday 7:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m.)
• Must become a member of the Teamsters Local 853 union
• Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k benefits offered after 3 calendar months
• Must pass background and drug screening
