Inside Sales Representative needed in Aurora, Illinois
\n $75K - $90K, based on experience
\n This role is 100% in Office.
\n
\n SUMMARY OF FUNCTION:
\nAccountable for building relationships with customers and selling products/product applications or services to assigned accounts. Cultivate and grow new business with prospective and established customers by discussing applicable requirements along with opportunities and challenges. Take ownership of accounts and work closely with management to develop profitable business for the Company.
\n
\n JOB REQUIREMENTS: \n

\n\t
• Identity prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, and attending trade shows and conferences.\n\t
• Lead Generation / Cold Calling\n\t
• Contact new and existing customers to customers to discuss their needs and explain how specific products and services can meet these needs.\n\t
• Help customers select products to meet customers’ needs, product specifications, and regulations.\n\t
• Emphasize product features that will meet customers’ needs and exhibit the capabilities and limitations of their products.\n\t
• Answer customer questions about pricing, availability, and uses of the products they are selling.\n\t
• Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements.\n\t
• Prepare sales contracts and submit orders for processing.\n\t
• Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as information on selling strategies and marketing information.\n\t
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with product and services.\n

\n EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES: \n\n

\n\t
• Bilingual in English / Spanish highly preferred\n\t
• Background in manufacturing and CNC machining environments highly preferred\n\t
• Experience in Military sales a definite plus\n\t
• Ability to develop business to business telephone sales. \n\t
• Metals industry experience desired. \n\t
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills; must be self-motivated and results-driven in pursuing and achieving objectives; proficient with MS Office, MS Outlook, email and internet technology. \n\t
• Must have good organizational and follow-up skills, and must be able to visit customer sites as needed. \n\t
• Must be able to work effectively in a team-based work environment and possess the ability to understand and work effectively with the specifications and applications of an extensive and technical product line. \n
