SAP SD/LE Consultant — Mundelein, IL (Onsite Tues–Thurs)

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned SAP SD/LE Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP Sales & Distribution and Logistics Execution solutions within an S/4HANA environment. This is a hands-on functional role focused on enabling end-to-end Order-to-Cash and Logistics processes while partnering directly with business leaders and cross-functional teams.

You will support full lifecycle implementations, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, master data migration, deployment, and hypercare. The ideal candidate brings deep SD expertise (pricing, sales orders, shipping, billing), strong Logistics Execution knowledge, and experience supporting S/4HANA implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales, logistics, shipping, and billing requirements and translate them into SAP SD/LE solutions
• Configure SD and LE processes including pricing, sales document types, deliveries, shipments, billing, and intercompany flows
• Lead or support full-cycle implementations and S/4HANA migrations
• Integrate SD/LE with MM, PP, FI/CO, WM, EDI, external freight systems, and 3PL providers
• Support master data migration (customers, materials, pricing, business partners)
• Conduct fit/gap workshops, process design, documentation, and user training
• Execute unit, integration, and UAT testing, plus cutover and post-go-live support
• Drive process improvements and best practices in O2C and logistics workflows

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on SAP SD configuration experience
• Strong SAP LE experience (shipping, delivery, outbound logistics)
• S/4HANA implementation or migration experience
• 1–2 full lifecycle SAP implementations
• Experience with SD/LE master data migration and Business Partner conversion
• Must be local to the Chicago area and willing to work onsite in Mundelein, IL (Tues–Thurs)
