Job Description
- Houston. 200,000 dollar salary, paid weekly
- Day-one health benefits, HSA, FSA, 401k Roth
Are you tired of watching Houston's students fail because the current system prevents you from upholding the standards they need? Alpha is opening a flagship campus in this city, and we're seeking a leader who already knows Houston's education landscape. You will manage 15 plus Guides who coach and inspire students while our EdTech platform delivers all instruction. No traditional "teaching". High execution. True leadership. Your goal: make certain every student enjoys school, learns at twice the pace of conventional classrooms, and acquires essential life skills. This is not a typical Principal position. You will maintain rigorous standards, rely on data to guide decisions, and create Houston's top school from the start. Lead through data. Coach toward excellence. Apply now. What You Will Be Doing - Open Alpha's flagship Houston campus: Execute Alpha's three core promises for 100 plus students from the first day with operational precision across all areas.
- Facilitate live workshops for K through 12 students on life skills: Lead compelling one-hour sessions covering public speaking, growth mindset, and feedback exchange. Apply Alpha's structured approach to guarantee students develop skills overlooked by traditional schools while enjoying the experience.
- Drive every student toward 100 percent goal completion: Develop personalized motivational strategies for each learner. Apply data-informed methods to address disengagement and maintain student commitment to the Alpha platform. Success is defined by every student achieving their objectives.
- Develop Guides through targeted coaching: Leverage quantitative and qualitative metrics to pinpoint performance deficits. Provide precise, actionable guidance during coaching meetings and monitor progress. Maintain team accountability through logic and objectivity, avoiding empathy that weakens standards.
- Lead campus operations using data insights: Review performance indicators across personnel, operations, parent engagement, and culture. Identify issues, perform root cause analysis, engage stakeholders, deploy measurable solutions. Document every decision and refine based on outcomes.
- Uphold excellence without exception: Establish and sustain Alpha's performance expectations for students and team members. Execute difficult decisions when results fall below standard. Model the campus benchmark through personal example.

- Passion for transforming education. Belief that the traditional system is fundamentally broken.
- Startup mindset: thrives under pressure, adaptable in new situations, comfortable building systems from scratch
