Dual Security/Houseman Position

$15 hourly

Security Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel premises (interior and exterior) to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access, theft, or disturbances.
• Monitor security cameras, alarm systems, and building access points throughout the shift.
• Respond promptly to guest or staff incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns.
• Complete and document nightly security rounds and incident reports.
• Assist with guest lockouts and after-hours requests as needed.
• Enforce hotel policies and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Liaise with local authorities when necessary.

Limited Houseman Responsibilities

• Perform light cleaning tasks in public areas such as the lobby, restrooms, and hallways as needed.
• Empty trash bins and restock basic supplies to maintain cleanliness overnight.
• Deliver linens, towels, or guest items to rooms upon request.
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of entryways and high-traffic areas.

• Previous security or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong observation and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to remain professional, calm, and courteous during late-night hours and emergencies.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
• Basic understanding of safety and emergency protocols required.
• Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions

• Overnight shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Indoor and outdoor patrols in various weather conditions.
• Standing and walking for long periods; light cleaning or lifting as needed.
