Role Overview We are looking for a Seed VC Associate to join our US investment team and play a key role in identifying and supporting the next generation of seed-stage founders across North America. This is a high-exposure, hands-on role combining sourcing, investment execution, founder engagement, and ecosystem development — with a particular focus on the earliest phases of company formation and validation. Beyond the investment role, this is a unique opportunity to actively contribute to establishing and shaping Founders Future’s long-term presence in the US seed ecosystem. You will help build our sourcing engine, sharpen our investment theses, and strengthen our positioning among the most visionary early-stage entrepreneurs. Key Responsibilities Deal Sourcing & Origination Identify and source seed-stage opportunities across key US markets (SF, NYC, Austin, Miami), with a strong emphasis on pre-product, pre-revenue, and pre-seed/seed rounds. Build trusted relationships with first-time and repeat founders, accelerators (YC, Techstars, etc.), scouts, angels, and early-stage funds. Investment Analysis & Execution Lead initial assessment of opportunities: team quality, product vision, go-to-market strategy, early traction, and market size. Support due diligence and internal IC processes, including investment memo drafting, cap table review, and qualitative founder evaluation. Founder Engagement Act as a key sparring partner to founders: challenge product-market fit assumptions, prepare for follow-on rounds, and support early hiring. Help founders access our network across Europe and the US. Ecosystem & Community Building Represent Founders Future at early-stage events, demo days, and community gatherings. Organize roundtables, dinners, and thematic initiatives to strengthen our brand among emerging founders and operators. Thematic Research & Thesis Building Contribute to the development of our AI-first seed-stage theses and keep track of sector dynamics in Fintech, SaaS, and Healthcare. Candidate Profile 2–4 years of experience in early-stage VC, startup operations, product management, investment banking, consulting, or entrepreneurship. Strong founder empathy and deep understanding of the challenges of company building from 0 to 1. Demonstrated passion for technology, startups, and seed investing — ideally with some exposure to AI, Fintech, SaaS, or Health. Analytical, curious, and intellectually rigorous, with an ability to go from market deep dives to founder calls in the same day. Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with ambitious early-stage teams. Entrepreneurial, humble, fast-moving, and autonomous. Full professional fluency in English; French or Spanish is a plus. Network or prior experience in San Francisco, New York, Austin, or Miami is strongly preferred.
