Job Description

Hando Coffee Bar in Manvel, TX is looking for one Evening Shift lead to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged.

Responsibilities

Interact regularly with customers ensuring a positive experience
Coordinate and facilitate staff member's tasks to ensure timely execution
Train and develop new team members to company standard
Motivate staff while working towards one goal
Manage AM and/or PM shift duties such as cash handling, inventory levels, food safety protocols, daily cleaning duties and more.
Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with Hando’s receiving policies and procedures.
Be proficient in all Barista and Shift lead duties and skill set
Lead team through high- traffic periods smoothly, efficiently and positively
Maintain excellent wait times, cleanliness and customer interactions through training, coaching and encouragement
Ensure premium customer experience by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues
Support in training process, company policies, procedures and job responsibilities
Support and work with all management, including kitchen
Set team up for success
Provide regular feedback to each team member on strengths and area of growth
Take ownership of solutions and address operational issues
Develop new leaders and delegate tasks for efficiency
Implement and communicate directives form upper management
Allocate designated breaks times

Qualifications

Outgoing and engaging personality
Strong communication and listening skills
Able to resolve conflicts quickly and efficiently
Experience in a leadership role is a definite plus
Food managers certification
3+ years in Coffee industry
