Staff Accountant - Entry Level

Lincoln Search Consultants specializes in the placement of Accounting and Finance professionals ranging from new grad to C level, both direct hire and contract.

We are currently engaged exclusively to conduct a search for an Entry level Staff Accountant for one of our Fortune 500 clients. This role is open due to a recent promotion as is the culture of this organization to promote from within.

Primary Responsibilities include

- Accountant reconciliations
- GL Maintenance
- Compilation and consolidation of financial data for financial statement preparation and reporting.
- Posting of accruals and prepayments
- Other responsibilities and projects as assigned


This role sits within the largest business unit within the organization and has a tremendous amount of exposure, interaction and recognition at the C Level. This particular group is the 'farm system' for internal promotions and folks in this group are consistently sought out for promotion across the firm.

Qualifications:

- Undergrad in Accounting
- 0-2 years of professional experience
- 3.25/4.0 GPA
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and ability to work in a fast - paced work environment.
- Intangibles - strong communication, both spoken and written.
- Career - minded individuals - this organization hires folks that have an interest in continued growth, promotion and challenges. 'Jobbers' or 'clock watchers' will not work.
