Role Summary The Audio Group at Rivian is responsible for in-vehicle acoustics, media and infotainment playback, audio hardware design and much more. We have a deep passion for audio and how things sound. We are looking for someone to design and implement our audio hardware and integration of all our vehicle platforms. Responsibilities Define the audio experience in all Rivian platforms Specify acoustic targets for Rivian vehicles Work with cross-functional teams and vendors to design optimal integration of acoustic components Qualifications BS or MS in Computer Science, EEE or related program with a focus on acoustics 5+ years of experience in acoustic integration Experience with acoustic simulations – small signal models, finite element analysis Experience with acoustic measurements – AP, anechoic chamber, product level Experience with mechanical integration of acoustic components – buzz, rattles, grill designs Enthusiastic self-starter Good communication and documentation skills Audio electronics design preferred Pay Disclosure Salary Range for Bay Area Based Applicants: $167,400 - $209,300 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
