Nights, 12-hour shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), every other weekend or 3 per month depending on needs.

\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide direct patient care, assessing and monitoring patients in the emergency department.
\n
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
\n
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
\n
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions and treatment plans.
\n
• Maintain a safe and clean environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department experience required.
\n
• BSN is mandatory.
\n
• Travel experience with at least one completed contract assignment is required.
\n
• High volume/fast pace experience preferred.
\n
• New Jersey License or Compact License required.
\n
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are necessary. Pending certifications or expired certifications within 30 days of submission are not accepted.
