Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a MO or compact license, ACLS, BLS, and advanced certifications for a night shift contract.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the ICU providing care to a diverse adult patient population
• No burns, pediatrics, transplant, or ECMO cases
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2
• Night shifts (3x12 hours) from 18:30 to 07:00
• Block scheduling is accommodated
• Required to float to other units as needed
• Every third weekend is required during the 6-week schedule period
• Charting is performed in Epic; previous Epic experience is preferred
• Scrubs in any color or brand are acceptable
• Two requests for time off permitted per contract
• All mandatory modules are completed during orientation and are non-billable
• Returning staff must be gone for one year before rehiring as a traveler
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active MO or compact RN license required prior to start
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, and TNCC are required
• Minimum of 2 years ICU RN experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted; prior travel experience preferred
• References and proof of identification (driver’s license and SSN) required for consideration
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel compensation
