Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU assignment, requiring ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, TNCC, and at least two years of ICU experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
• Care for a diverse patient population with no burns, pediatrics, transplants, or ECMO cases
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2
• Night shifts available with either 36 or 48 hours per week, shift time 18:30 to 07:00
• Block scheduling accommodated
• Float to other units as required
• Every third weekend work requirement within a six-week schedule
• Uses Epic charting system, Epic experience preferred
• Must adhere to a two RTO requests limit per contract
• Scrubs of any color and brand permitted
• Orientation includes non-billable modules completed during onboarding
• Return staff must have been gone for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• COVID vaccination status may affect eligibility if required by the facility

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active MO or compact RN license in hand prior to start; pending licensure accepted for consideration
• Current ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum of two years ICU nursing experience required
• No first-time travelers considered
• Preferred previous travel nursing experience
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility for travel pay eligibility
