Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with at least 2 years of critical care experience and advanced certifications for a hospital-based position.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the ICU department of a hospital setting
• Diverse adult patient population, excluding burns, pediatrics, transplants, and ECMO cases
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2
• Day shift position with 12-hour shifts from 6:45 to 19:15
• Block scheduling available
• Floating to other units is required
• Required to work every third weekend within a 6-week schedule period
• Uses Epic EMR system; experience preferred
• Responsibilities include providing critical care to a diverse adult ICU population
• Orientation includes non-billable modules completed via MyPath
• Scrubs may be any color and any brand
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Must provide a copy of driver’s license and Social Security Number for consideration

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active MO or compact RN license in hand prior to start
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, and TNCC required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• First time travelers will not be considered
• Employees must be gone for one year before returning as a traveler
• Accepts candidates who reside within 50 miles at a lower rate
• RTO limited to 2 requests per contract
