Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with at least 2 years of critical care experience and advanced certifications for a hospital-based position.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the ICU department of a hospital setting
- Diverse adult patient population, excluding burns, pediatrics, transplants, and ECMO cases
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2
- Day shift position with 12-hour shifts from 6:45 to 19:15
- Block scheduling available
- Floating to other units is required
- Required to work every third weekend within a 6-week schedule period
- Uses Epic EMR system; experience preferred
- Responsibilities include providing critical care to a diverse adult ICU population
- Orientation includes non-billable modules completed via MyPath
- Scrubs may be any color and any brand
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- Must provide a copy of driver’s license and Social Security Number for consideration

- Active MO or compact RN license in hand prior to start
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, and TNCC required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Previous travel experience preferred
- First time travelers will not be considered
- Employees must be gone for one year before returning as a traveler
- Accepts candidates who reside within 50 miles at a lower rate
- RTO limited to 2 requests per contract
