7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 12-hour days with a 36-hour guarantee.

\n\nJob Description\n

The Emergency Department is staffed 24/7 and serves approximately 14,000 patient visits each year. Upon arrival, patients are screened by an Emergency Nurse to assess the severity of their condition and determine the proper course of treatment. This role does not permit block scheduling, and any request for time off must be included during profile upload. Any request after submission may not be approved.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Provide care and treatment to patients in the Emergency Department.
\n
• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings upon patient arrival.
\n
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• 2+ years of current experience in an Emergency Department in a hospital setting.
\n
• Minimum of 3 months travel experience preferred.
\n
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
\n
• Vermont RN license or Compact license.
\n
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
\n
