\nRegistered Nurse - PACU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Block scheduling with 2:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
\n• 36 hours of orientation required
\n• Float within facility and scope of practice as needed
\n• Weekend coverage includes 24-hour call shifts on Saturday or Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM (2 weekend call shifts required in 6-week period)
\n• 7-8 call shifts required in 6-week period
\n• Must work major holidays that fall during assignment period
\n• Care for patients across all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
\n• Daily census of 15 patients with 8-bed unit
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
\n• Experience with Epic charting system required
\n• Minimum 1 year of experience required (unit accepts first-time travelers)
\n• Skills include Phase I PACU, arterial line management, dysrhythmia recognition, blood product administration, central line care, IV vasopressors, and various anesthesia types
\n• Manage post-operative patients from multiple specialties including ENT, general surgery, gynecology, neurology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and vascular procedures
\n• Georgia or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
\n• Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission
\n• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
