Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Truck Mechanic will diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines.
• Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Truck Mechanic perform welding or fabrication tasks on trailers and other equipment as necessary.
• Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance.
• The truck Mechanic will complete oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, and brake checks.
• Truck Mechanic will maintain records of parts inventory and service vehicles.

• Overtime.
• Self-determined schedule.
• Weekend availability.
• Weekends only.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Savannah, GA 31405: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).

Experience:

• Diesel engine repair: 4 years (Preferred).
• Mechanical knowledge: 4 years (Preferred).

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred).
• Night Shift (Preferred).
• Overnight Shift (Preferred).

Work Location:

• One Site
