Position Summary
We’re looking for a skilled tile installer who can handle projects with precision, craftsmanship, and efficiency. You’ll be responsible for delivering top-quality installations on schedule, following our proven processes, and upholding our commitment to excellence on every job.

Requirements
Education
Minimum: High school diploma or GED
Preferred: Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or advanced tile training
Licenses & Certifications
Required: Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
Preferred: CTEF Certified Tile Installer and/or Journeyman certification
Experience
Minimum: 5+ years as a professional tile installer with proven, verifiable work history
Preferred: Journeyman-level experience with advanced skills in a variety of tile applications
Transportation & Tools
Reliable truck or van
Complete set of personal tools for tile installation
Skills & Knowledge
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal & written)
Proficiency in mixing thinset and grout, handling materials, and maintaining a clean work area
Experience with grouting, cutting, and setting all types of tile
Accurate use of tape measures, levels, and other layout tools
Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, and job specifications
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
Expert knowledge of tile layout and installation techniques, including mud work
Familiarity with the TCNA and ANSI standards
Ability to train and mentor team members
Physical Requirements
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. without assistance
Comfortable with bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in a variety of physical positions for extended periods
Good hand–eye coordination, eyesight, and hearing for safe, accurate work
Working Conditions
Work in residential and commercial settings (new builds and remodels)
Travel to job sites, suppliers, and the shop as needed
Exposure to variable weather, construction noise, dust, and sharp materials/tools
May work alone or as part of a team
Use of safety equipment such as respirators, gloves, and eye/ear protection required
