Job Overview
The PCX Mechanical Assembler 1 is responsible for completing all assigned work according to specifications in a high quality and safe manner. The Mechanical Assembler 1 should be able to read assembly documentation and provide high quality of work with guidance. The Mechanical Assembler 1 is capable of assembling hardware stacks, mechanical assemblies, and have a desire to produce a quality product. The Mechanical Assembler 1 is required to follow the instructions of the supervisor and suggest improvements.
A Day In The Life \n - Must follow PCX safety guidelines and requirements
\n - Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
\n - Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting,

climbing, etc.
\n - Listens and follows directions from supervisors and management
\n - Must exhibit quality workmanship that adheres to engineering and customer specifications
\n - Adheres to PCX Quality Management System and ISO9001 standards
\n - Works in a timely, efficient manner to meet all daily performance objectives
\n - Must be able to work in a team environment which requires cooperating with others, offering help when needed, and maintaining positive work relationships
\n - Complete Time Reporting Sheets
\n - Ability to work up to 10 hours per day and weekends as required
\n - Must have reliable transportation
\n - Background check and drug-screen are required
\n

What will help you thrive in this role?\n - Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
\n - Must be able to read and understand posted bulletins, regulations, rule books, manufacturer manuals, and work instructions
\n - Report inventory use as required
\n - Able to lift 35 pounds consistently and team lift 70 pounds
\n - Should have the ability to read assembly documentation and provide high quality of work with guidance
\n - Can properly assemble hardware stacks, mechanical assemblies and have an eye for detail
\n - Defers to lead for any discrepancies before taking action to remedy problems
\n - Desire to produce quality products to be used in larger assemblies
\n - Able to use basic hand tools/power tools such as drills, saws, nut drivers, screw drivers and torque.
\n - Ability to read a metric tape measure and familiar with metric system a plus
\n - Can properly assemble hardware stacks, mechanical assemblies with great attention to detail
\n - Ability to work on ladders (up to 10 feet), lifts(with harness) and stand or sit for long periods of time
\n - Ability to pass the PCX training program
\n - Ability to work closely with small teams
\n - Ability to safely and efficiently build, lift and move sub-assemblies and both switch board electrical and mechanical components
