Job Title: Model Maker
Location: Lewisville, TX
Schedule: Full-Time
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Model Maker to join our team in Lewisville, TX. This role involves hands-on fabrication, assembly, and finishing of custom models and components for manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have welding experience, a strong understanding of engineered drawings, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding; must have and maintain a current welding helmet.
Read and interpret engineered drawings for accurate builds.
Safely operate tools such as table saws and radial arm saws.
Fabricate, assemble, and finish models and components according to specifications.
Learn and assist with powder coating processes as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Work overtime on short notice when required to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
Prior manufacturing or fabrication experience is required.
Ability to MIG weld (experience required).
Basic hand tools required; must provide own tools.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Dependable transportation required.
Willingness to learn and expand skills, including powder coating.
