Job Title PHP and WordPress Developer (Remote) Location Raleigh, NC Duration 12+ Month Job Description The Client has an Urgent/Immediate need for a PHP and WordPress Developer to get their website up and running again. Candidates need to be available immediately for the duration of the engagement. There may be a small extension to complete the work, if needed. Responsibilities Website Access Restoration: Diagnose and repair issues related to the missing WordPress login PHP file, restoring the login functionality for administrative and content management access. Static Pages Restoration: Diagnose and repair issues related to the inability to make living changes made to the static portions of the site. Codebase Stabilization: Identify problematic custom PHP code, outdated plugins, and legacy configurations that contribute to website instability, applying fixes as necessary to support ongoing use. Content Management Support: Make minor updates to improve navigation and usability where feasible, given the current structure, to facilitate better access for public users and ease of content management. Short-Term Maintenance Recommendations: Provide guidance on maintaining the website’s operability over the short term, including essential updates and monitoring for potential points of failure. Documentation: Document any repairs, temporary fixes, or recommendations for the client team to maintain site functionality and address minor issues.
